WI Extra FoodShare Benefits Ending Feb 2023

In the coming weeks, many WI residents will be receiving letters from WI DHS announcing a reduction in FoodShare benefits.

With increased food costs, this change will make it harder to provide healthy meals.

Below are resources for Iron County, WI residents to help with this hardship:

Iron County Action Trackchair

Iron County and the Iron County 4-H Program are making the outdoors more accessible for people with mobility issues!

Enjoy outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, camping, visiting parks, or going to the beach.  Participate in outdoor community events such as local fairs, snowshoe trail walks, festivals, parades, school activates.  Organizations can also reserve the chair for their events!  Interested individuals and business and organizations with the Iron and Gogebic County communities are invited to reserve the Action TrackChair for personal use or to have available at outdoor activites, events, and programs by going to https://iron.extension.wisc.edu/iron-county-action-trackchair/
