Early detection is the best prevention! The WWWP provides funding for qualifying women, ages 45-64, to receive free breast and cervical cancer screening. For women who are underinsured or uninsured, there is no premium, co-pay, or deductible for the WWWP. Services provided by participating health care providers include 2 and 3-D mammograms, clinical breast exams, cervical cancer screenings, Pap tests, and others. Additionally, a WWWP client who is diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for enrollment in the Well Woman Medicaid Program, which covers treatments for those diagnoses.
